Show us your favorite photo from last summer.
Last June was my last month in the ECE with my sweet Noneck. As a final field trip, we visited the zoo.
We kept trying to get a good picture of the class, but it was
difficult. Mainly because we'd sit Noneck down next to her friends,
she'd smile happily, we'd turn our backs to start taking pictures and
discover that she'd jumped up and was gleefully fleeing the scene.
Man, I miss her. LOL Her mom called and asked me to do ABA with her this summer and it broke my heart to say no. But it just didn't fit with my hours at work. :( It's a shame - I would have loved to work with her again. Feisty, non-compliant and all. *g*
Let's play with the insert item feature.
I started out my day with Noneck. She was very giggly and huggy
today, which is always a delight. We finished up our morning at the
park, climbing up slides and me..
Then I got the afternoon off, kind of. In the late afternoon, I headed over to Scott's and we hit this park.
We ended our journey to the park by walking the beam and jumping
off. (Yes, these pictures are from April. Trust me, the visits don't
change much. Very routine oriented, my boy is.)
When I got home, Dad was back from work. We celebrated the fact that my
adoption went through. In the eyes of everyone, I am his full and
legal daughter. Whooo! We went out to dinner (tapas...I had divine lamb
chops) and I got this ring. It's a heart with an H inscribed on it, for
my new last name, and he picked it all out. ::beams:: Very exciting.
Comments on this feature - It was easy to import them straight
from my harddrive, but I couldn't rearrange them once I got into the
composing and realized I'd uploaded two of them in the wrong order.
Then when I inserted from Comet and not my harddrive, I couldn't put
multiple in at the same time. Plus when I tried to edit a tag, it did
that damn bouncing reset to the top of the popup so I had to try a few
times before being successful. That's annoying. I would like it to be easier to edit the pics locations when I get it in here.
Now to pop in Farscape. I'm almost done with S1, I think.
Maybe 3 or 4 episodes left. I'm so in love with it.
I fixed TiVo! I rule. I also started the FAFSA application for the fall. I really rule.
I warned M that I was turning her daughter into a sci-fi nut. She,
thankfully, didn't mind. I had brought Farscape last night, to watch
after C was in bed, and C found it going through my bag. Heh. She
asked about John, and I explained that he was an astronaut who got lost
in outer space. Given that she's a space nut, she was sold. Later, we
were dancing in the front room and she stopped. "Wanna watch John?"
Always, I told her, so we did. She was into it. She's so cute, and such
a good girl.
I love this digital cable thing. TCM, Style Network, life is good.
