I've been trying for months to figure out what I want to do with my Vox blog - I feel like everything I have to say gets said elsewhere. I started thinking about what I want to share and who I want to share it with, and came up with this plan.

The new focus of this blog is to document my hobbies - knitting, book reviews, photography, writing, learning Welsh, dining out and television. (Okay, the last two are to mainly have the many previous Torchwood posts and moblogs I've made fit in, heh.) Kind of broad, to begin with. We'll see what I actually end up focusing on. I imagine it will be the first three, especially, with added Welsh once I shell out the money for my own Rosetta Stone program. Here's hoping for a successful blogging venture!

I started out my day with Noneck. She was very giggly and huggy today, which is always a delight. We finished up our morning at the park, climbing up slides and me..

Then I got the afternoon off, kind of. In the late afternoon, I headed over to Scott's and we hit this park.

We ended our journey to the park by walking the beam and jumping off. (Yes, these pictures are from April. Trust me, the visits don't change much. Very routine oriented, my boy is.)

When I got home, Dad was back from work. We celebrated the fact that my 

adoption went through. In the eyes of everyone, I am his full and legal daughter. Whooo! We went out to dinner (tapas...I had divine lamb chops) and I got this ring. It's a heart with an H inscribed on it, for my new last name, and he picked it all out. ::beams:: Very exciting.

Comments on this feature -  It was easy to import them straight from my harddrive, but I couldn't rearrange them once I got into the composing and realized I'd uploaded two of them in the wrong order. Then when I inserted from Comet and not my harddrive, I couldn't put multiple in at the same time. Plus when I tried to edit a tag, it did that damn bouncing reset to the top of the popup so I had to try a few times before being successful. That's annoying. I would like it to be easier to edit the pics locations when I get it in here.

Now to pop in Farscape. I'm almost done with S1, I think.

Maybe 3 or 4 episodes left. I'm so in love with it.

'Tis rainy. Very very rainy and very very windy.

It's funny, because for the my first 20 birthdays, it was a guaranteed gorgeous day. Since then, though, they've all been rainy like this. Starting that lovely birthday I moved out of my dorm and it started raining just as we finished cramming my stuff into the van. Heee!

So far it's been a great birthday. Work was so much fun. I was meant to be Liz's surrogate mom, but she was absent. So I hung around with Noneck and her mom. We had a Mother's Day tea and spa. The moms wore robes and the kids did their hair and nails and gave them hand massages. It was so cute!!! Then the team took me out to lunch at Applebee's, which was delicious. Tonight C and her mom are coming over for cake, and Melissa might come, too.

Also, whoo, got the new dual tuner TiVo! And S2 of Farscape, and a super cute mesh hoody from Josh. I adore it!
